King Mirza Sikander Baig is assassinated by John Clive in 1795, at the time when the Indian subcontinent was referred to as Hindustan. Lord Clive of the East India Company massacres the citizens of his kingdom and annexes the territory. Only his daughter Zafira Baig and the general Khudabaksh are still alive. After putting an end to the opposing soldiers’ retreat, Khudabaksh adopts Zafira as his daughter and teaches her the skills of battle. The movie then jumps ahead in time by several years. Firangi Mallah is a petty criminal who connives with victims to obtain money. For instance, he once paid several goons for information about the whereabouts of a traveling landlord. After that, in exchange for payment, he tells British soldiers where to find the same goons.
