Once the storm has passed for a bit, Pettson and Findus have already gathered enough fish blocks from the ice to use in their ice hunt. Once the sail is raised and the “anchor” is let loose, they begin to sail away from the storm. They immediately halt at land and proceed on foot, but they are unable to locate their house and begin to believe they are lost.
